This picture was taken directly in front of the Pier-head building. The cannons look out directly onto the bay and Penarth. Just behind the cannons is a carousel which would be familiar site to most people who like in Cardiff, mainly spotted in Cardiff bay the carousel moves around to local events and occasions. Despite its looks the carousel started in 2008 but really manages to capture the magic of the old wooden carousels. On this particular day the carousel was being dismantled and taken away for maintenance hence the truck jus coming into the shot.
