Taken just to the side of John Lewis whose large building dominates the right of the image the attention grabber however is in the distance the striking building of the Radisson Blu Hotel Cardiff the Hotel sky scraper 1 of the 2 Meridian Gate buildings, the other being for a small building for apartments. This building is next to the Altolusso both buildings are impressive in there visual architecture and completely different in appearance and nature. As a stereo photo it creates an great sense of depth having such a towering structure in the distance with John Lewis following the perspective. Such an image is quite unremarkable in 2D but really comes into its own in a stereo image where different compositional rules apply.
