The River Taff, starting in the Brecon Beacons as 2 rivers the Taf Fechan and the Taf Fawr which translates as the Little Taff and the Big Taff respectively the river. The river flows right through the heart of Cardiff past Cardiff Castle and the Millennium Stadium and into Cardiff Bay a man made barrage to create an expanse of water in the estuary of Taff. Alongside the Taff is the Taff trail a 89km walk that follows the river as closely as it can and is a walk I can personally recommend at any part although I would not recommend tackling it all 89km at once.
